Luxon and Seymour are going to get children back into school
I heard this on radio Newstalk ZB news that both leaders want all of our children back into school.
Seymour is looking at fines for parents who do not send their children to school
This is great news and needs to happen quickly so that parents get the message
One talk back caller said that the likes of McDonalds should not be allowed to serve school aged children during school hours!

Well it is going to take someone to get serious about the problem. Or it will never change.

Truancy tax.
Revenue gathering for Willis's taxcuts and 3 billion handout to landlords.
Running down infrastructure and cutting everything in sight (even cutting police funding) must not be generating enough money for her.

Of course it would have been a lot easier for the incoming govt if the previous one was more fiscally responsible but that didn't happen did it?

Practical, no nonsense suggestions like that remind me of the kind of discipline parents used to be able to apply to errant teenagers. ‘If you don’t help with the dishes - you don’t get to monopolise the phone this evening.

When I was at school I didn’t know that you could wag
How dumb was I?

Trouble is the kids know they have all the rights, and no one can really do anything about it.... (not helped by families who really don't care, or even see the point of the education system....)

My parents would have been horrified if I’d bunked off for the day
I’d have felt so guilty

I was just interested to know why people of your ilk hate landlords so much...........do you not know anyone who is renting? If all landlords gave up tomorrow, where would they live? Don't say "more houses for them to buy" because there will always be those who are never going to buy a house........

Or just simply can’t afford to buy one, but you are right we desperately need landlords.
