The website says instructions but they are different measurements than the kit given. This is the way I did it. On each corner cut out a 5 inch square and on all sides make each strip 1 inch long. This way works very well. Double knot works the best way to try it. Overall a great purchase. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ceci49951 from Fleece Tie Blankets I made two of these last year for Christmas gifts. One I had cut and the other one, I used a rotary cutter. The rotary cutter is MUCH easier and faster. I had pinned the materials together with safety pins. I am a nurse that takes care of a special needs child at night, so I took them to work and "knotted" them while at work, thus the use of safety pins. I am thinking about doing this again for Christmas this year. I try to look for fleece and flannel when they are on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pridenjoy from Awesome last minute gifts My daughter explained the instructions for me a little better than tag on fleece. The 1st one took over an hour... I decided to cut time in half . Line up fabric right sides out. Then fold in half. I used a cd case to cut the corners off un-folded half. Then use a school ruler to cut fringe about 5” long at 1” intervals. You’re cutting 4 pieces of fabric.. now seperate the 2 top pieces of fringe from bottom .. tie. Done! Leave folded side uncut! I made 9 blankets the night before Christmas!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Aretha1125 from NO-SEW THROWS ARE PERFECT FOR XMAS PRESENTS I found a No- Sew Throw at a thrift store in my hometown. It was so jumbled up and unfinished. I brought it because it has a beautiful design. I had never made one before; I felt thi would be my opportunity to try making one. I turned out to be my inspiration to make approx. 30 of these which was enough to make at least one throw for my four children, 16 grandchildren plus my 3 great-grand all in time for Xmas - approximately 2 weeks from the purchase of the one from the thrift store. I found the technique using the rotary cutter and mat to make the slits or fringes is much faster and all the slits are uniform after using this method. This way it shorten the time for cutting all the time is spent tying. I require investing money in rotary cutting tools but if you are going to make a truckload of these it is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rit nickname from Easy way to cut the edges Make a template out of light cardboard with cuts 4" long and as long as possible. Make your cardboard 6" wide so that the cuts do not go to the very edge. Just place the template on the edge of the double fleece and cut every 1" that is marked. Move down whenever you get to the end of your template. Repeat until the entire edge is cut and then you can tie, tie, tie.
