it's amazing how CP3 can turn a franchise around by his lonesome..
did it with OKC, now with PHX...
Hall of Famer for sure even without rings.

CP3 is the type that’ll come out of no where and hit a buzzer beating 3.
But this Jazz team is extremely dangerous because they have what seems like a cornerstone in every successful championship team… a well coordinated defence. And a special defensive player of the year type player! Rudy Gobert!

I think Brooklyn is taking this hands down. I thought the Bucks facing them would be closer, but not so. Also Philly and Atlanta, doubt they can do it.
And Phoenix beating Denver. I said Jazz would beat Clippers, but only cuz the passing isn't in sync, seems to be a self driven game by whoever is having a good day, or pass to the regulars. It's enroute, but I think the Clippers may have enough fight for a game 7 even. Seems I'll think Jazz and Phoenix, and than I don't know, but maybe Jazz. No chance against Brooklyn. The power is in the east this year.

I was making comments on two separate teams. Never did i say they were playing each other. Go back and read.
Try passing a grade or two. Lol

Phoenix swept Utah in the regular season though. So there's that to consider, if they both advance to face each other.

No Mavs but Dontic was beast with his points. He always knows how to unhop a defender to get to his spot, and doesn't mind shooting with one leg when he's hitting.

Just when it looked like the Bucks will blow the Nets out Bruce Brown brings them back in the 2nd qtr, he's been amazing for them.

I'm most surprised by the minimal amount of free throws in this series. To both sides, not favouring one over another.

Oh man, as much as Brown helped get them back in the game, he hurt them time after time down the stretch. The guy was thinking he's the main guy or something shooting and missing every time he was passed the ball. Those floaters were awful. And that botched inbound. He took the last two or three shots before Durant's final desperation attempt at the end.
But Bucks really brought the defense this game, so credit to them.

Yup, Bucks did a great job on Kyrie and KD and Brown felt his game entitled him to take 4th qtr shots he shouldn't have.
I expect the Nets to bring Harden in for game 4 and checkmate the series.

Serge Ibaka undergoes season ending back surgery. It looks like Utah will take this series.

In the other games, Danny Green gets injured in the first 3 minutes and the Sixers won decisively without him playing and guarding Trae Young.

Doesn't look good for the nets. Another injury, but seems Harden is walking up and down the court and wants in asap, so prob next game. I say whoever wins this series will win the east, and than I am not sure if the suns or jazz/if clippers can put it together next game, clippers to play them, I think a healthy Brooklyn would beat all the opposition, but we'll have to wait and see.

Kyrie sprain his right ankle, with Harden also injured. Nets have a crack in both offense and defense.

That Zaza Pachulia move by Giannis on Kyrie could win Milwaukee the series.

Giannis did not do it intentionally, but Pachulla did it on Kawhi intentionally as far as I remember.

Giannis doesn't have a reputation as a dirty player. But intentional or not the result is the same, the guy in the air is really vulnerable and if you place your foot right below their landing area you should be penalized. I wonder if it was PJ Tucker putting his foot under Kyrie in the same way would he have gotten away with it like Giannis?

When you watch the replay, Giannis went way into Kyrie's space. Like his forearm was right below Kyrie as he was landing, so while he doesn't have the reputation, I feel like it was somewhat intentional.
He does have a reputation of retaliating very physically, so even though he wasn't retaliating for anything Kyrie did, he is certainly willing to physically harm.
Regardless, that should have been a foul. It was not an obvious undercut, but it was a undercut for which Kyrie landed on his foot and his forearm shoved Kyrie down. You can't box out a person in the air.
