Pros are supposed to go before cons, so I will put the positives first, but please don’t miss the negatives later in this review, because although there were a few redeeming qualities, make no mistake, I would never sail with MSC again. First positive, all the staff below the managerial level deserve to be commended for being true, if not powerless, delights. We had many wonderful interactions

If I could give no stars I would. I joined a world cruise with MSC and have had nothing but frustration and grievances. If you are a parent I highly suggest considering another cruise line. A child was assaulted by an adult passenger and when the parents filed a complaint after bringing him to the medical center, nothing was done but a warning. The baby pool on the cruise was under maintenance

It was supposed to be a highlight of our lives and it turned out to be the biggest disappointment of our lives. We understand that is was not their fault that a big junk of the planned itinerary had to be changed due to the hostilities in the middle east. Among other places we were supposed to visit Greenland. They planned to go there in April and we obviously did not go to Greenland either.

My husband and I embarked on this cruise, despite a radically changed itinerary, because MSC refused our request for a refund. However, our experience was so awful that we disembarked on day 20 of 85 in Walvis Bay, Namibia, and flew home from there. Better to forfeit the unused cruise fare than to continue to subject ourselves to the cruise line’s utter disdain for passengers and 65 more days of

Never again
Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia
Incredibly disillusioned
We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available

MSC said the ship was refurbished in 2023 and they must be talking about the exterior of the ship. The public stairs lot dated with the teal and chocolate motif. The cabins are either navy or bordello red. The furniture in the cabin is worn, sun bleached and dated, think 90’s. Dining options are limited. There is the main dining room offering a selection of reoccurring average to say the best

We are currently on this terrible cruise Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us.1. So many sea daysChange of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees.As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have

I have cruised on various cruise lines so far including NCL, Celebrity, Carnival etc. This has been the worst from all aspects, except the staff. The food had literally no Vegetarian options. The shows were substandard. No coffee creamer’s. The quality of soap below par. Not even warm milk for coffee the first 2 days. I would not recommend this cruise line by any means. Please save your money and

The internet was terrible and expensive. We had to get several visas, but few were actually needed. For example, we had to have a visa to South Korea to board the ship, but later we found that no one needed a visa to SK. MSC will not give me a refund for the unnecessary visa. We paid for a larger room that did not exist on that ship, with no refund in sight. Food was decent, but not great. Rooms

If you want to be treated like a criminal, discriminated against and be at risk of burning to death on the open seas, MSC is the cruise line for you!My issues started even before the cruise. As a solo traveller, and a gay man, I emailed MSC asking if they would hold an LGBT drinks event on the cruise, as nearly every other cruise line does. The email response did not address my question, so I
