After doing some night running I decided I need a little more light on the move. What are people running? I have a coast light that works OK, but I need more light. Spec says 60 lumen
What I have now ( picked it up from Lowes)
I was thinking about something like this
5000LUMEN CREE XM L XML 3 x T6 LED Headlight Light Headlamp Flashlight Head Lamp | eBay
Almost 8 ounces, so it might be heavy, but even if it performs to half its rated output of 5000 lumen, it will be a huge improvement over the light I have now.
For $36 with batteries shipped seems like a win, but if there is something else out there I want to know.

I loved the 1.2-1.5 volt resistance filament bulbs. Even though they consumed considerable power, at least they gave ample light. These LED ones are ok since they give good battery life, but they are a compromise somewhere.

I ordered the 5000 lumen light. $37 shipped. If it works out, I will order a set of batteries and some kind of holder to charge them with my rc charger. I ordered a second light with a single 2000 lumen bulb for $17 shipped from here in the usa. I will give it to my daughter, or if she does not like it use it at work. There are some spots I could use the extra light.

I use a cheap Rayovac one for work. Not bad, 2 brightness settings and adjustable tilt bracket.

I saw that light at a local ACE hardware. They wanted $59 for just the headlamp. I figure I am in both the lights I bought less than that at this point, so if they end up being a total fail, oh well lesson learned.

I got this one in the mail Friday. I have to say it puts out an incredible amount of light. It has high, low, and strobe settings. I cannot say how long it will run for, but I am sure higher quality batteries can be found if time proves to be an issue.
I took a couple quick picks before I charged the batteries. This is about 50 feet away in my back yard with my phone. Not the greatest pic, but it does put out a great beam. It is adjustable, and you can remove the reflector and put out a larger blanket of light.
